How many users can connect simultaneously?
Does RADIUSdesk support Mikrotik routers?
The project in itself is capable of using Mikrotik as a gateway/node. We do not provide any additional assistance other than what is mentioned in the official documentation.
How can the Hotspot network be extended?
The network can be extended just like any other. Connect Wireless Access Points to the LAN of the gateway router. In case there are more than 4 access points, additional switches can be treed.
Can MeshDesk supported routers be used to extend the network?
Yes surely. We do not provide any additional assistance other than what is mentioned in the official documentation.
I have multiple internet lines. Can I use a load balancer to provide uninterrupted service to my guests?
Yes of course, you can use a separate load balancer. We have used all kinds of load balancers for customers. The simplest one being TP-Link TL-R480T+.
Do you restrict the number of connected devices or access points?
No, not at all. You can configure unlimited nodes/gateways to extend the network. Also, there are no limits imposed on the number of users connected.
I have a PMS and want to integrate it with the Hotspot. Can you help me?
Yes, as long as you have all the information we require to integrate, we can do it for you. In most cases, the PMS will require changes made. We will need to discuss your requirements in detail.
Can you give me more details of the router you provide?
We provide TP-Link 1043ND (detachable antennas) routers. This router has 5 Gigabit ports (which is the highlight of the product) and is classified as 300N wireless. According to us, these are probably the best value for money OpenWRT supported routers available.
I would like to setup the same on my servers. Is it possible?
Yes, we can do this for you. Also, provide you with all technical know-how with regards to the setup and provide annual maintenance for System Integrators. Please get in touch with us for more details.
If I purchase a router from you, do I have to pay the router costs on subsequent renewals?
No, router costs are a one-time charge. We do not provide warranty for them. Therefore, no recurring charges are billed for it.
Who provides warranty on the routers you sell?
TP-Link India can be contacted on email@example.com for any sort of warranty claims. You will need to have an invoice copy provided by us.
Do you ship routers outside of India?
In most cases we do not. It is difficult to insure the router during transit. If you are okay with it, we can give it a try.
Can I pay monthly instead of annual?
No monthly and quarterly billing is not possible.. The servers we procure are for paid up for an annum, therefore we bill our customers per annum.
What are the charges for customisation/integration?
We charge INR 2500/EUR 35 for 8 hours of development. This can be for customisation or integration. You will need to request a quote from us and approve it based on the specs before we can get started with any development tasks.
